Luke 6
Jesus asked a challenging question.
"Why do you call me 'Lord, Lord,' and not do what I tell you?
James commented on that same basic idea a few years later.
But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.
So... when we hear His word, but don't respond in obedience, we deceive ourselves.
Scary thought.
Lord, teach me the ways of your kingdom.
